The H.L. Hunley

On February 17, 1864, The Hunley attacked and sank the USS Housatonic, which had been blocking Charleston's harbor.  Soon afterwards, the Hunley sank, killing all of the crew members.  In 1995 The H.L. Hunley was located outside Charleston's Harbor and in 2000, The Hunley was raised from the ocean floor.  Currently The Hunley is undergoing a massive restoration at the Warren Lasch Conservation Center.  Pool Cover Solutions of the Southeast was honored to be a small part of this ongoing historic project.  For more information on H.L.
